BOY CHILD DISCRIMINATION EVEN WITH COVID 19 SITUATION

So much concentrations has been targeted towards the girl child and this has resulted to some positive results in our society, we have more and more women in power and authority which is a good thing we need to appreciate the organizations involved a lot. This organization has brought about developing more responsible mothers in our society.

At the same time, we have forgotten about the boy child totally. We can’t say we have more responsible father than mother especially in Kenya because the boy child is totally forgotten in the society and this has had a lot of negative effects because we have seen most bright minds that never got the concentration they need killed trying to make a living in a very negative way.

Even right now with this COVID 19 situation, I can say a lot of food reliefs and helps are given to girl child than the boy child still which am not opposed to but we need to be realistic here. We all know that not all boy children are married or able to provide for him now that most of them have lost their jobs and are struggling to make end meet so we need to handle this situation with care. I happened to be part of the team that was chosen to provide help in the society at this difficult time and as I said, all the foods and money are directed to women and girls and most of the men and boy child are discriminated here in my home country

At least at this moment we might consider the male gender than to forget them at all because when it comes to death from starvation, gender equality doesn’t matter, we are all at a risk during this time with so many jobs lost right now in Kenya.
