On Monday night as been recorded as one of the bad night in the Kenyan Curfew that is suppose to help us reduce the infection of the Corona virus because we lost a 13 year old in Kiamaiko Nairobi after it was alleged that the young boy was shot from their balcony trying to watch the police forcing people out of the streets because it was curfew time. Investigation are still on going weather the stray bullet came from a security agent or not, we cant tell right now exactly what happened. We are still waiting for the confirmation from the security agency in charge which we hope it will be true and transparent.
Am sure the government is trying all it can to keep his citizen safe but just like i said in my previous post. The brutality from the police will not help in this case and their is a lot of ways to handle those who will be breaking the Curfew rule. What might happen next which we should try to avoid is the people starting to retaliate the police brutality and going to the street. We are human being and the police are not that different too, we feel bad when we loose lives from few security agents who are careless and enjoy misusing their power. No one is entitled to take life out of someone.
Currently with only one death from the 50 Corona cases recorded, that is a plus to our medical team but can we say the same to security agencies. Just in 4 days of curfew, am not sure how many people have visited the hospital due to the beating they have got from our security agency, am sure they are a lot than the number of the Corona virus patients. Now 2 deaths claims recorded to be from our security agencies, one from Kwale boda boda driver and one from the 13 years old young boy on Monday. Even though the investigation are still on going, i hope this is not confirmed true because it will be worse if we have more deaths on the curfew than the corona virus that as brought about the curfew.
GOD BLESS KENYA
Sad indeed. A bad result from a necessary practice. God Bless Kenya

This is awful. Police brutality to enforce the curfew has been greater than the virus, itself?

Very sad indeed, but that Kenya for use. The police here don’t get involve with criminal a lot on a normal day so when they get opportunity the make use of it. Which is very sad
